New York Comic Con, an NYC Event, Attracts Geeks from Around the World

This NYC Event is the largest of its kind in the country, and people come from around the world to attend New York Comic Con.

New York City doesn’t like being in second place. For many years, San Diego’s comic con was the top such event in the country. In 2013, this NYC Event took first place when more than 151,000 attendees bought tickets to New York Comic Con. That number beat the San Diego event by more than 20,000. Last year, the number of attendees grew to 170,000, and organizers are expecting another record year. For those who love all things sci-fi, attending this Event in NY – at least once – is a must.

Another thing that this NYC Event has over the San Diego Comic Con is that it’s not nearly as difficult to get tickets. That doesn’t mean the tickets won’t sell out but, even at the late hour of this writing, some tickets were still available. The San Diego event typically sells out completely within an hour after tickets go on sale, which makes getting a ticket seem as impossible as winning the lottery.

While the tickets to the NYC Event are easier to get, you can be sure that New York Comic Con is just as exciting. Everything people love about comic cons can be found at this Event in NY.
